– Socioeconomic background
Harassment, discrimination, or exclusionary behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. Professional Conduct
– Using respectful and appropriate language in communications
– Dressing suitably for the learning environment (online or in-person)
– Avoiding disruptive or disrespectful behaviour
3. Harassment-Free Environment
– Offensive or inappropriate comments
– Intimidation, stalking, or unwanted attention
– Unwelcome sexual advances or remarks
– Inappropriate physical contact
– Disruption of sessions or disrespect toward others
Anyone asked to stop such behaviour is expected to comply immediately.
4. Ethical Standards
– Honesty – Presenting information accurately and acknowledging limitations
– Transparency – Clearly communicating course objectives, content, scope
– Accountability – Taking responsibility for actions and their consequences
– Fairness – Treating all individuals with impartiality & respect
5. Data Ethics and Privacy
– Collecting and managing data transparently and lawfully
– Respecting the confidentiality of participants’ personal and research data
– Being clear about how data is used during & after courses
6. Reporting and Enforcement
Consequences for violations may include:
– A formal warning
– Removal from a course or event without refund
– Exclusion from future PR Stats activities
