PR Statistics Code of Conduct

Introduction

At PR Stats, we are committed to maintaining a professional, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants, instructors, and staff. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations to ensure a positive and productive experience for everyone involved in our courses and events.

1. Respect and Inclusion

We value diversity and strive to create an environment where everyone feels respected and included, regardless of:

– Age
– Disability
– Gender identity or expression
– Nationality
– Physical appearance
– Race or ethnicity
– Religion or belief
– Sexual orientation
– Socioeconomic background

Harassment, discrimination, or exclusionary behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.

2. Professional Conduct

All participants are expected to act with professionalism. This includes:

– Using respectful and appropriate language in communications
– Dressing suitably for the learning environment (online or in-person)
– Avoiding disruptive or disrespectful behaviour

3. Harassment-Free Environment

Harassment in any form is unacceptable. This includes but is not limited to:

– Offensive or inappropriate comments
– Intimidation, stalking, or unwanted attention
– Unwelcome sexual advances or remarks
– Inappropriate physical contact
– Disruption of sessions or disrespect toward others

Anyone asked to stop such behaviour is expected to comply immediately.

4. Ethical Standards

We uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct, guided by principles recognised by professional bodies such as PRSA and CIPR. These include:

– Honesty – Presenting information accurately and acknowledging limitations
– Transparency – Clearly communicating course objectives, content, scope
– Accountability – Taking responsibility for actions and their consequences
– Fairness – Treating all individuals with impartiality & respect

5. Data Ethics and Privacy

We are committed to responsible data use and privacy. This includes:

– Collecting and managing data transparently and lawfully
– Respecting the confidentiality of participants’ personal and research data
– Being clear about how data is used during & after courses

6. Reporting and Enforcement

Violations of Code of Conduct can be reported to any member of the PR Stats team. All reports will be treated with confidentiality and handled sensitively.

Consequences for violations may include:

– A formal warning
– Removal from a course or event without refund
– Exclusion from future PR Stats activities
